Docent Tour: Collection Highlight at Yale Center for British Art

Visitors can explore the Yale Center for British Art’s extraordinary collection through an engaging docent-led tour on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 11:00 to 11:45 am. The tour offers an interactive look at In a New Light: Five Centuries of British Art, a reimagined exhibition featuring masterpieces from the sixteenth century to the present.

Volunteer museum educators lead these tours, sharing insights and fostering dialogue about both the artwork and the museum’s iconic building, designed by renowned modernist architect Louis I. Kahn. Tours begin in the Entrance Court near the Visitor Services desk and last approximately 45 minutes.
