Docent Tour: Collection Highlight at Yale Center for British Art

Visitors can explore five centuries of British art during a docent-led tour at the Yale Center for British Art in New Haven. This interactive tour offers highlights from the museum’s current exhibition In a New Light: Five Centuries of British Art, showcasing works dating from the sixteenth century to the present.

Led by the museum’s knowledgeable volunteer educators, the 45-minute tour invites guests to view the collection through diverse and personal perspectives. Participants will also gain insight into the museum’s architectural significance, housed in a building designed by modernist architect Louis I. Kahn.

The tour will take place on August 8, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm. Tours begin in the Entrance Court by the Visitor Services desk. Admission is free, and no registration is required.
