DINO Trolley at Connecticut Trolley Museum
An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Sunday and Saturday, repeating until July 20, 2025

Step back in time and experience prehistoric adventure at DINO Trolley at the Connecticut Trolley Museum in East Windsor. This family-friendly event takes place on July 12, 13, 19, and 20, 2025, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Perfect for young dinosaur enthusiasts, DINO Trolley combines the thrill of a trolley ride with dino-themed activities for a full day of exploration and fun. Hop aboard a safari-style trolley for a Dino Hunt through the woods—spot stationary dinosaur figures along the railway as your trolley crew slows down for prime viewing and fun narration.
Kids can dig for fossils at the Fossil Dig Station, tackle an I-Spy Scavenger Hunt in the Visitor Center for prizes, and craft their very own dinosaur trolley to take home. A special animatronic dino close-up experience is also available for an additional fee, offering the chance to snap a photo with an 8-foot interactive Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Young explorers can search for hidden dino eggs around the museum grounds to redeem for prizes and capture memories at the themed photo station. Inside the Visitor Center, enjoy static trolley cars, artifacts, a dinosaur movie in the theater, and the Fire Truck Museum—access to all activities and the Connecticut Fire Museum is included with your admission.
The Connecticut Trolley Museum is open rain or shine, and advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended to secure your spot. Walk-ins will be accommodated if space allows.
The Connecticut Trolley Museum is located at 58 North Road, East Windsor, Connecticut. For tickets and details, visit ct-trolley.org or call (860) 627-6540.
