An evening of world-class jazz comes to the Palace Theater on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 8 pm to 10 pm at 100 East Main Street, Waterbury, CT 06702.

Internationally acclaimed vocalist and pianist Diana Krall brings her signature blend of jazz, swing, and pop standards to the stage. The only jazz singer to have eight albums debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Jazz Albums chart, Krall has earned two Grammy Awards, ten Juno Awards, and numerous gold, platinum, and multi-platinum records over the course of her career.

Known for her distinctive style and expressive interpretations, Krall’s performances showcase her smooth, sultry voice paired with sophisticated piano arrangements. Her artistry spans classic jazz standards and contemporary selections, creating a sound that appeals to a wide audience while remaining rooted in jazz tradition.

Born in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Krall began studying piano at the age of four and was performing professionally by her mid-teens. Influenced by early jazz greats such as Fats Waller, James P. Johnson, and Earl Hines, she developed a deep appreciation for the genre that continues to shape her music today.
