Derrick Stroup at Hartford Funny Bone

Stand-up comedian Derrick Stroup brings his Mad About Nothing 2025 tour to the Hartford Funny Bone Comedy Club in Manchester on Friday, June 27. Doors open at 6 pm, and the show begins at 7 pm. Tickets are $27.

A native of Alabama and self-proclaimed Waffle House enthusiast, Stroup is known for his high-energy delivery and storytelling style that has earned him national recognition. With a rhythm described as “an angry auctioneer,” he captivates audiences with hilarious tales and Southern charm.

Stroup’s recent credits include an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, being named a New Face at JFL Montreal, and filming his first Comedy Central special in 2024. He has also toured with comedy heavyweights such as Bert Kreischer, Larry the Cable Guy, John Crist, and Nate Bargatze, and was featured on Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas on CBS.
