Derrick Stroup at Hartford Funny Bone

Stand-up comedian Derrick Stroup brings his Mad About Nothing 2025 tour to the Hartford Funny Bone Comedy Club in Manchester on Saturday, June 28, with two showtimes available. The first show begins at 6:30 pm (doors open at 5:30 pm), and the second show starts at 9:00 pm (doors open at 8:30 pm). Tickets are $27 for each performance.

A native of Alabama and a self-described Waffle House enthusiast, Stroup is known for his fast-paced delivery and vivid storytelling, often compared to the cadence of an “angry auctioneer.” He has made appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, was named a New Face at Just for Laughs in Montreal, and filmed his first Comedy Central special in 2024. Stroup has also shared the stage with comedy greats including Bert Kreischer, Larry the Cable Guy, John Crist, and Nate Bargatze.
