Deadgrass Double Show Concert at Milford Arts Council

A high-energy night of jamgrass and improvisation takes place on Friday, March 28, 2026 at the Milford Arts Council (MAC), 40 Railroad Avenue South, Milford, CT 06460.

This special double show features two performances at 6:30 pm and 9:00 pm, each offering a completely unique setlist for an unforgettable musical experience.

Led by multi-instrumentalist Matt Turk and Grammy Award–winning guitarist C Lanzbom, Deadgrass delivers a fresh and dynamic take on the music of Jerry Garcia. Drawing from the Grateful Dead, Old & In the Way, and the Jerry Garcia Band, the group blends bluegrass, folk, jazz, and improvisation into a vibrant, roots-driven sound.

The band features an exceptional lineup of musicians, including bassist Dave Richards, banjoist Kris Bauman, and jazz violinist Kensuke Shoji. Together, they bring virtuosic musicianship and spontaneous creativity to every performance, honoring Garcia’s legacy while pushing musical boundaries.
