Dark Star Orchestra at Levitt Pavilion

Dark Star Orchestra brings the iconic Grateful Dead live concert experience to life, performing beloved set lists from the Dead’s extensive catalog or creating new ones inspired by their decades of touring. Performing for over 20 years with more than 3,000 shows under their belt, the band’s dedication to recreating the spirit, sound, and energy of the original shows has earned them critical acclaim and a loyal following around the world.

Fans can look forward to an evening of timeless Dead tunes, unique improvisations, and the contagious, nostalgic vibe that keeps generations coming back for more. The band has shared the stage with six original Grateful Dead members and performs annually at major music festivals and their own gatherings like the Dark Star Jubilee and Jam in the Sand.

The concert will take place on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 6:00 pm at the Levitt Pavilion, 40 Jesup Road, Westport, CT 06880. This is a general admission, standing-room-only event with designated no-chair zones. The event will be held rain or shine. No outside food, drink, or coolers are permitted, but an onsite refreshment bar and food trucks will be available. Guests ages 21 and over must bring a valid photo ID for alcohol purchases.
