Danbury Holi on the Green Festival

Danbury Holi on the Green Festival will be held at City Center Green on March 26th from 12 noon to 3 pm.
Celebrate Holi, the “Festival of Colors”, with your community. Holi is a traditional Hindu festival that marks the end of winter and the beginning of spring with joy, fun, and color.
Registration is highly recommended. All ages are welcome!
Throughout the festival, Gulal, a colorful food-grade powder, will be available at stations around the Green. This vibrant powder is thrown into the air and at one another, so remember to wear clothing that is safe to show off your colorful attendance!
All afternoon enjoy music by DJ AD SaaZ who will also act as master of ceremonies for a fashion show displaying clothing and accessories from India. Festival goers can browse shopping stalls featuring jewelry, clothes, arts, and crafts from local vendors. In addition to music and shopping, the festival will feature performances of cultural dances such as Kathak and Bollywood.
All ages are invited to attend. Registration is highly recommended through Danbury Library’s events calendar. Visit danburylibrary.org to sign up. This is an outdoor event. Dress accordingly for the weather.
