In addition to her books, Gay has written for The New Yorker, served as the first Black woman to lead a Marvel title with the comic series World of Wakanda, and hosts the Webby Award-winning podcast The Roxane Gay Agenda. She also writes the “Work Friend” column for The New York Times and runs her own publishing imprint, Roxane Gay Books. Her latest collection, Happy-Go-Lucky, debuted at number one on the New York Times bestseller list.
