Creating A Writing Life Retreat for Emerging Writers

Emerging writers will gather at Mercy By the Sea on August 17th for the 13th season of Creating A Writing Life retreats, presented by award-winning writer Patricia Ann Chaffee. With varied backgrounds and interests, working in a variety of genres, participants find common ground in the empowering, affirming, small group setting that encourages authenticity and honoring the call to write.
The August event features special guest speaker, romance writer, Gail Chianese. She is the author of seven books and is a proud member of Connecticut Romance Writers of America..The retreats offer a relaxed, judgement free atmosphere where writers can reflect, write, network and leave ready to take their writing to the next level.
The all-inclusive event is Saturday, August 17th, from 9:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. and includes a continental breakfast and lunch. Registration is $165 per person.
