Courthouse O’Putnam 5K at Courthouse Bar & Grille

Celebrate St. Patrick’s season with the Courthouse O’Putnam 5K on Sunday, March 9, 2025, in Putnam. This festive race welcomes runners and walkers of all levels to enjoy a fun-filled course and an Irish-themed post-race party at Courthouse Bar & Grille. Costumes are highly encouraged!
Participants receive an Irish-themed travel mug and a post-race meal featuring a hot corned beef sandwich on a pretzel bun. Runners 21+ (with ID) also receive an ice-cold craft beer.
This event is part of the Lucky Challenge, where participants who complete all four O’races—O’Shenanigans 5K, Courthouse O’Putnam 5K, O’Niantic 5K, and O’Hartford 5K or 10K—earn a special medal. The Li’l Lucky Challenge offers an alternative for those completing two races.
The HMF FitKids Run, designed for ages 2-11, includes a ¼ or ½ mile race.
In support of the local community, the race benefits the HMF Susie Beris, MD Youth Running Program. Participants can also donate nonperishable food to the HMF Can tent, supporting Interfaith Human Services of Putnam Daily Bread Food Pantry.
The race takes place at Courthouse Bar & Grille, 121 Main St., Putnam, CT. Registration fees range from $12 to $32. The event runs from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
