Connecticut Spring Boat Show at Safe Harbor Essex Island

The Connecticut Spring Boat Show returns to Essex as New England’s first in-water boat show of the season, bringing together the region’s boating community for a weekend on the water. Celebrating its 10th year, the show features a wide selection of new and pre-owned power and sailboats ranging from 20 feet to more than 65 feet, along with yacht brokers, marine gear, coastal artists, accessories, and service companies exhibiting on shore. Live music by Connecticut-based bands and a family-friendly marina setting add to the atmosphere as visitors explore what’s new for the upcoming boating season.

The show takes place from Friday, April 24, through Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Safe Harbor Essex Island Marina, a private 13-acre island accessed by complimentary ferry service, located at 11 Ferry Street, Essex, CT. The event is held rain or shine. Tickets are $22 per adult for advance three-day passes purchased through April 23, increasing to $26 thereafter. Admission is free for children ages 13 and under, and tickets grant access for the entire weekend. Fifty percent of ticket proceeds benefit Sails Up 4 Cancer.
