Conjuring Faeries from Clay at Florence Griswold Museum

The magic of sculpture comes to life during Conjuring Faeries from Clay on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 11 am to 3 pm at the Florence Griswold Museum.
Advanced sculpture students from Lyme Academy in Old Lyme will demonstrate how they transform clay into imaginative faerie figures. Visitors can watch the artists work and see the creative process unfold as the students bring their ideas to life through sculpture.
The students will also be available throughout the demonstration to discuss their techniques and answer questions about creating sculptures. The hands-on look at the artistic process offers an engaging experience for visitors of all ages.
Conjuring Faeries from Clay is included with museum admission and is suitable for the whole family. The demonstration takes place at the Florence Griswold Museum, 96 Lyme Street, Old Lyme, Connecticut 06371, from 11 am to 3 pm.
