Community Tag Sale at Lyman Orchards

A large outdoor tag sale event takes place on April 27, 2025 from 9 am to 2 pm at Lyman Orchards Apple Barrel Farm Market grounds, 32 Reeds Gap Road, Middlefield, CT 06455.

This community-focused tag sale offers individuals the opportunity to declutter and sell items in a shared, high-traffic setting. Participants can bring goods from home—ranging from household items to clothing and décor—and keep all profits from their sales. The event is designed specifically for residential sellers, with no commercial vendors permitted.

Vendor setup begins at 7:30 am, with all participants required to bring their own tables, chairs, and display materials. A $20 registration fee applies, with proceeds benefiting Middlefield-Durham community organizations.

The event takes place behind the Apple Barrel Farm Market on the gravel tent pad near the parking area. All unsold items must be removed at the end of the day, and restrictions apply on prohibited items, including hazardous materials and food or beverage sales.
