Community Sewing Project at Yale University Art Gallery

Visitors are invited to take part in a quilt-inspired Community Sewing Project on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 12:30 to 2:30 pm at the Yale University Art Gallery in New Haven.

This interactive drop-in event offers a welcoming space to connect with others while learning about traditional patchwork quilting techniques—or experimenting with your own creative designs. Participants who attended the Gallery’s quilting-based Sidewalk Studio earlier in the year can continue their projects, while newcomers can start fresh.

No prior sewing experience is necessary, and all materials are provided. The program is generously sponsored by the Martin A. Ryerson Lectureship Fund.
