CLA Blue Back Mitten Run 5K at Blue Back Square

Celebrate the holiday season on December 8, 2024, by joining the CLA Blue Back Mitten Run 5K, a festive family-friendly 5K through the decorated neighborhoods of West Hartford. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to participate in this 3.1-mile road race, complete with holiday-inspired mittens for all 5K participants and delicious cookies at the finish line in Blue Back Square.

Kids can join the holiday fun in the HMF FitKids run, with a ½ mile or one-mile dash to Blue Back Square. In the spirit of giving, attendees are encouraged to bring new winter hats, gloves, and mittens to donate to those in need. Cash donations will also be accepted to support the Town That Cares Fund.
