Presented during the nation’s 250th anniversary celebration, the performance honors the enduring legacy of American songwriting with music spanning genres and generations. The evening will feature songs by artists including Curtis Mayfield, The Staple Singers, Willie Dixon, Hank Williams, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Stephen Foster, and more, performed by Christine Ohlman, her band Rebel Montez, The Sin Sisters, and special guests.
Known as “The Beehive Queen,” Christine Ohlman has been the longtime vocalist with the Saturday Night Live Band for more than three decades and is celebrated for her powerful blend of rock, soul, blues, and Americana. She is joined by The Sin Sisters—Kathy Kessler, Janice Ingarra, and Patti Rahl—whose acclaimed harmonies earned them induction into the New England Music Hall of Fame.
