Chinese Calligraphy Workshop with Jun Lin at Connecticut Museum of Culture and History

Participants will explore the ancient art of Chinese calligraphy in a hands-on workshop led by Dr. Jun Lin, a tenured professor at SUNY–New Paltz and Master Calligrapher. This interactive program will include a presentation on the history and styles of Chinese calligraphy, a live demonstration by Dr. Lin, and an opportunity for attendees to create their own calligraphy pieces.
Dr. Lin began studying calligraphy at age five and has trained under esteemed calligraphers in China. His work has been exhibited both in the U.S. and abroad and is recognized by the National Society of Chinese Calligraphy. The workshop is open to all skill levels and no prior experience is necessary. All materials will be provided.
