Children’s Storytime in the Fairfield Forest at Fairfield University Store
An event every week that begins at 11:00 am on Saturday, repeating until September 19, 2026
Children and families are invited to Children’s Storytime in the Fairfield Forest every Saturday from 11 am to 2 pm at the Fairfield University Store in downtown Fairfield. Led by local reading teacher and Fairfield University Store employee Steve Gaynes, this weekly event celebrates the joy of reading through engaging stories and activities for young readers.
Storytime takes place in the Fairfield Forest children’s section of the bookstore and is tailored to children’s interests, with featured books and occasional special guests. Depending on attendance, families can enjoy an interactive experience that encourages a love of books and storytelling in a welcoming environment.
Children’s Storytime is free and open to the public. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
