Cheese Fries & Chili Dips at Westport Country Playhouse

Chris Fuller brings his powerful and humorous one-man show, Cheese Fries & Chili Dips, to Westport Country Playhouse on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 7 pm. Written and performed by Fuller and directed by Mark S. Graham, the show tells the heartfelt and funny story of a pro golfer’s journey with bipolar disorder, blending quick wit, candid storytelling, and emotional depth.

Praised for its honesty and self-deprecating humor, the performance draws on Fuller’s own life experiences and has inspired the creation of the International Mental Health Foundation (IMHF), which uses the performing arts to combat mental health stigma and promote wellness.

The evening begins at 6 pm with a complimentary wine and cheese tasting hosted by Kindred Spirits of Westport. Following the performance, audience members are invited to a special talk-back with two leaders in mental health from the Yale School of Medicine, offering insights on breaking the stigma surrounding mental illness.
