Charlie Hall’s GET UP WITH IT: A Miles Davis Centennial Celebration at Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts
Celebrate the legacy of jazz legend Miles Davis during Charlie Hall’s GET UP WITH IT: A Miles Davis Centennial Celebration on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts. Doors open at 6 pm, and the concert begins at 7 pm.
Presented as part of the Levitt Pavilion’s America250 Series, this special performance honors the 100th anniversary of Miles Davis’ birth by exploring his groundbreaking electric period from 1969 to 1975. Led by Wilton native and The War on Drugs drummer Charlie Hall, the acclaimed ensemble GET UP WITH IT will perform music inspired by Davis’ landmark albums In a Silent Way, Bitches Brew, and Jack Johnson.
Featuring an accomplished lineup of musicians, the concert celebrates the innovation and enduring influence of one of America’s most visionary artists. The performance highlights the fusion of jazz, rock, funk, and experimental music that redefined the genre and continues to inspire musicians around the world.
