Charles McBee at Hartford Funny Bone Comedy Club

Stand-up comedian and television writer Charles McBee will take the stage at the Hartford Funny Bone Comedy Club in Manchester on Saturday, July 5, 2025. Doors open at 3:00 pm and the show begins at 4:00 pm. Tickets are $25.

Originally from Toledo, Ohio, McBee has established himself in New York City’s comedy scene with multiple national TV appearances, including Gotham Comedy Live, and as a standout on FOX’s Laughs and Punchline. His writing credits include major televised events such as the VH1 Hip Hop Honors 2017, the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards, and the 2021 Golden Globe Awards. He also served as Head Writer for Comedy Central’s Hell Of A Week, which earned a Writers Guild Award nomination, and has contributed as a creative consultant for Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘N Out.

In addition to his TV work, McBee has built a strong online following with his humorous takes on growing up in the 1980s and 1990s. Known for his quick wit and engaging storytelling, McBee delivers a performance full of nostalgic charm and sharp observations.
