Celebrate Fairy Tails Day at Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo

Once upon a time in a zoo not so far away, there was a day for all children to dress up like their favorite storybook characters! On Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 10 am to 2 pm, Connecticut’s Beardsley  Zoo will turn into a magical land, with a day full of fun activities, including princesses, story time at multiple locations on the grounds, face painting, glitter tattoos, bubbles, and animal presentations!

Plus there will be a visit from the on-site Bookmobile, in partnership with Read to Grow!

This enchanting day of fun and fantasy is brought to you by the Pediatric Care Alliance between Connecticut Children’s and Hartford HealthCare, in collaboration with Read to Grow, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting early childhood literacy.

Admission to Beardsley Zoo is $20 for adults (ages 12-61), $16 for children (ages 2-11) and seniors (62+), while children under 2 can visit for free.
