Buddy Guy 90 at Palace Theater

Blues legend Buddy Guy celebrates an extraordinary milestone during Buddy Guy 90 at the Palace Theater on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 8 pm to 10 pm. The concert honors the remarkable career of one of the most influential guitarists in American music.

A Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and nine-time GRAMMY Award winner, Buddy Guy helped define Chicago’s iconic West Side blues sound and has inspired generations of musicians. Throughout his career, he has earned numerous accolades, including a Lifetime Achievement GRAMMY, the Presidential National Medal of Arts, the Kennedy Center Honor, and recognition from Rolling Stone as one of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.” The performance follows his 2026 GRAMMY Award for Best Traditional Blues Album, Ain’t Done with the Blues, and the release of the PBS American Masters documentary Buddy Guy: The Blues Chase the Blues Away.
