Boppa Chua! A History of the 50s and 60s Through Popular Songs at Litchfield Community Center

Take a musical journey through the 1950s and 60s with Marc Black, a New York Blues Hall of Fame inductee, at Litchfield Community Center on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm.

This engaging two-person show blends storytelling, multimedia, and classic songs to bring the era to life. From the days of bobby socks and the space race to the civil rights movement and classic rock, this nostalgic performance will have the audience singing along. Songs like “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka-dot Bikini” and “Blowin’ in the Wind” make for an entertaining, inspirational, and educational experience.
