Austin-based singer-songwriter Bob Schneider, former frontman of The Ugly Americans and The Scabs, is one of the most decorated musicians in Austin’s history, with over 59 Austin Music Awards to his name. Known for his genre-blending style he calls “frunk,” Schneider seamlessly fuses folk, rock, rap, funk, bluegrass, reggae, and country into a signature sound. His career includes a major-label debut with Universal Records on the album Lonelyland and the creation of his own label, Shockorama Records, giving him full creative freedom.

Schneider’s live performances are legendary, from his two appearances on Austin City Limits to his 20-year residency at The Saxon Pub. Playing more than 100 shows each year, his concerts are known for their energy, musical diversity, and devoted fan base that stretches far beyond Austin.
