Big Hair Big Air Après Snow Party at Powder Ridge Mountain Park & Resort

Step back in time for a day of retro ski fun and après-ski partying at Powder Ridge. Dust off your vintage ski gear from the 1970s and 1980s and enjoy a day filled with skiing, snowboarding, and a lively après-ski celebration.
The Big Hair & Big Air Ski & Snowboard Competition kicks off at 1 pm, with practice runs from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. While retro gear isn’t required to compete, extra prizes will be awarded for the best vintage outfits. A lift pass or season pass is required to enter the competition, which can be purchased onsite.
The Ultimate Après Snow Party begins at 2 pm on the Fire at The Ridge back deck. Enjoy music from DJs, dancing around fire pits, and prizes for the best 70s and 80s outfits. Monster Energy will be onsite with drink samples, and there will be beer sampling available for guests 21 and over.
Admission is free for the après party. The ski and snowboard competition requires a lift pass or season pass and event ticket.
The event takes place on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Powder Ridge Mountain Park & Resort, located at 99 Powder Hill Rd, Middlefield, CT. The competition starts at 1 pm, with the après-ski party running from 2 pm to 5 pm.
