Beethoven to Bernstein: Musical Postcards with Joanna Chang at Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts

Presented as part of the America250 celebration, Musical Postcards: A Transatlantic Journey from Beethoven to Bernstein features pianist Joanna Chang in a program that traces the evolution of classical music alongside key moments in American history. The performance highlights works by both European and American composers, exploring how international influences shaped the development of American art music.

Joanna Chang, a faculty member at Fairfield University, brings both performance expertise and scholarly insight to the program. A classically trained pianist with advanced degrees in piano performance and musicology, her work often examines the connections between music, culture, and history.
