From 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, visit the Natt Family Red Panda Habitat to meet Zoo Educators, explore fascinating artifacts, and learn more about these adorable creatures. Discover how the red panda, whose name means “fire-colored cat,” uses its bushy tail for balance and warmth, and how it spends much of its day snoozing high up in the trees.
International Red Panda Day encourages awareness and conservation efforts to help protect the habitat of this lovable species.
