Arts in Mind at Yale University Art Gallery

Arts in Mind is a free virtual monthly program designed for individuals with Young-Onset Alzheimer’s or those in the early stages of memory loss, along with their care partners. This engaging online experience connects participants with the Yale University Art Gallery’s collection through guided art discussions and related hands-on art-making activities.

The session on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, will begin at 2:00 pm and will involve both close looking at selected artworks and creative expression using common art materials. Suggested supplies may include pencils, colored pencils, markers, crayons or oil pastels, watercolor sets, sketch pads, copy paper, and notebooks.

This welcoming and inclusive program offers a meaningful opportunity to explore creativity, foster connection, and engage with art in a supportive environment.
