Creative engagement and close looking are at the heart of Arts in Mind, a free monthly program designed for individuals in the early stages of memory loss and their care partners. Presented online, each session connects guided discussion of artworks from the Yale University Art Gallery’s collection with gentle art-making activities that encourage self-expression and reflection. Participants are invited to work with familiar materials such as pencils, markers, watercolor, and paper while exploring art in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Arts in Mind takes place from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on February 10, March 10, April 14, and May 12, 2026. The program is hosted by the Yale University Art Gallery in New Haven and is offered free of charge.
