Art•Bar Happy Hour: Plein-Air Painting on the Lieutenant at Florence Griswold Museum

The Florence Griswold Museum presents Art•Bar Happy Hour: Plein-Air Painting on the Lieutenant, an evening of outdoor creativity by the scenic Lieutenant River on Thursday, May 8, 2025, starting at 5:30 pm. Led by artist Julie Riggs, this session invites participants to paint “en plein air” in the spirit of the original Lyme Art Colony artists.
Guests will enjoy a relaxed and social setting with light refreshments and libations while creating their own masterpiece surrounded by the museum’s beautiful riverside landscape. All art materials are included, making this event perfect for a night out with friends or a solo artistic escape.
Advance registration is recommended. Discounts for Museum Members are available when logged in through an online account.
