Art•Bar Happy Hour: Mixed Media Assemblage #1 at Florence Griswold Museum

An evening of creative crafting, light fare and libations is on tap during Art•Bar Happy Hour: Mixed Media Assemblage #1 on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.

Designed for adults, the event invites participants to spend the evening with Julie Garvin-Riggs creating a mixed media assemblage using collaged materials and three-dimensional objects. The project offers an opportunity to experiment with texture, composition and found objects while creating an original piece of art to take home.

All crafting materials are included. The Museum’s Art•Bar program also combines the creative experience with light fare and libations for a relaxed evening of art-making.

Admission is $40, with a 10% discount available for museum members.
