Art in Focus – Diptych: Scenes from the Life of Christ and the Virgin (1350) at Fairfield University Museum of Art

The Fairfield University Museum of Art will host Art in Focus on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 12:00 pm. This informal gallery conversation, led by Curator of Education Michelle DiMarzo, PhD, will explore the intricacies of a delicate devotional diptych depicting scenes from the life of Christ and the Virgin, dated to 1350. The artwork is on long-term loan from the Metropolitan Museum of Art and offers a unique glimpse into medieval religious art and craftsmanship.
