Art Happy Hour at New Britain Museum of American Art
An event every week that begins at 5:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until September 4, 2025
Spend Thursday evenings soaking in live music, local flavors, and scenic views during Art Happy Hour at the New Britain Museum of American Art. This summer series runs every Thursday from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm, offering guests a front-row seat to Walnut Hill Park along with a vibrant lineup of live performances.
Visitors can unwind on the Café Terrace with craft cocktails, local beer, wine, and a selection of snacks, sandwiches, and salads available for purchase at the Museum Café. Select evenings also feature popular food trucks parked adjacent to the park.
The 2025 lineup includes performances by local favorites such as the Chris Torres, Malin Carta Quartet, Randall Kane Quartet, and more. On nights with food trucks, guests can look forward to delicious options from vendors like Cousin’s Maine Lobster, Christina’s Greek American Street Food, Get Stuffed, and Pika.
Admission is free to enjoy the live music outdoors. Standard museum admission applies for those wishing to visit the galleries during the event. In the event of rain, most performances will move indoors; call ahead for updates.
