Art Colony Camp 2025: Session #3 at Florence Griswold Museum

Young artists will dive into creativity and history during Art Colony Camp 2025: Session #3, held at the Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme from Monday, July 21 through Friday, July 25. This five-day camp runs daily from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and invites children to discover the artistic traditions of the Lyme Art Colony.

Geared for students entering grades 1 through 3 or grades 4 through 6, the camp encourages exploration of the Museum’s exhibitions alongside hands-on art-making, games, and outdoor fun. Campers will have the chance to create their own masterpieces using a variety of materials, with guidance from museum educators in a supportive and imaginative environment.

Each camper will receive a t-shirt, daily snacks, and all necessary art supplies. The week concludes with a celebratory art show where campers proudly present their work to family and friends. Art Colony Camp is designed for children ages 5 (who have completed kindergarten) through 12.
