April Vacation Daily Fun at the Connecticut Science Center

The Connecticut Science Center in Hartford will be open daily for April Vacation from April 12–27, 2025 (closed Easter Sunday, April 20), offering a full schedule of exciting events and hands-on experiences for visitors of all ages.

Explore The Science Behind PIXAR, a new traveling exhibition that takes guests behind the scenes of some of your favorite animated films to uncover the creative and scientific process of bringing characters to life. On April 14, celebrate World Quantum Day with interactive experiments and a pop-up exhibit exploring the mysteries of quantum science.

Join award-winning artist Motoko on April 16 for a hands-on origami workshop, and return on April 22 for a high-energy Taikoza performance filled with dynamic drumming and cultural storytelling. From April 23–25, dive into DNA Days with live science demonstrations and activities focusing on the building blocks of life. On April 19, don’t miss Women in Science Saturday, highlighting inspiring contributions from women in STEM.

With something new happening each day, the April vacation experience at the Science Center promises learning, creativity, and adventure for the entire family.

The Connecticut Science Center is located at 250 Columbus Boulevard, Hartford, CT 06103. Open daily during vacation from 10 am to 4 pm (closed on April 20).
