Annual Western Connecticut UFO Conference
October 17 - October 18
The fifth Annual Western Connecticut UFO Conference is being held on the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, October 17-18, at the Danbury Library. The event will feature leading research scientists such as Linda Zimmerman, as well as Marc D’Antonio, Kathleen Cobalt, and more!
It’s one of mankind’s most lingering, unanswered questions: Are we alone? For generations, many local residents in the Greater Danbury community have answered that question with a resounding “No!” Accounts of local UFOs sightings may have left some residents without any lingering doubts that we are not alone in the universe. However, questions about who (or what) was behind the rash of sightings in the 1980s and 1990s still linger decades later.
Throughout the weekend of Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18, Danbury Library will host the fifth annual Western Connecticut UFO Conference, a two-day investigation into one of the most puzzling chapters of our local history. The two-day event will welcome back renowned research scientist Linda Zimmerman, the award-winning author of over thirty books and a frequent guest on countless radio and television programs worldwide. Ms. Zimmerman will present her findings on the Danbury Hudson Valley Sightings, and how that phenomena challenge the perception of UFOs.
Other thought-leaders scheduled to present include Marc D’Antonio, host of SkyTour Radio, Kathleen B. Cobalt, Ed. D., and Paul and Ben Eno, hosts of the popular CBS Radio destination show, ‘Behind the Paranormal with Paul and Ben Eno.’ Dr. Bill Bires, creator and host of History Channel’s UFO Hunters, will present ‘UFOs and The White House.’
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s conference will be held online via Zoom. For a complete schedule, or to learn more about this year’s event, please visit danburylibrary.org/category/event. The fifth annual Western CT UFO Conference is free for all to attend, and is graciously underwritten by the Friends of The Danbury Library.
