Annual Sunflowers for Wishes Buttonwoods Griswold

The Annual Sunflowers for Wishes Benefit for Make-A-Wish-CT will be held from July 23rd to July 31st, 2022 at Buttonwoods Farm in Griswold. Each year Buttonwood Farm plant over 14 acres of sunflowers and harvest approximately 300,000 blooms for your viewing pleasure and to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut, a non-profit organization dedicated to granting wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Sunflowers are available while supplies last. They offer a bundle of cut sunflowers for a $2 per flower to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut. Due to overwhelming demand, they are unable to reserve or hold sunflower bouquets. There are no flowers available for U-Pick or cut-your-own.

100% of proceeds of our sunflower sales are given directly to Make-A-Wish, as well as proceeds from our t-shirt sales, which feature a unique sunflower design each season. Over the past 14 seasons growing sunflowers we have been able to donate over one million dollars to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, thanks to the generosity of our visitors.
