Annual Stonington Village Fair

It’s official! Join us on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 11 am to 4 pm on the Wadawanuck Green in the Stonington Borough for a day of family fun with pottery sales, the book sale, artisan row, sweet bread, and floral bouquets.
The Stonington Village Fair is a regional time-honored tradition drawing thousands annually. The first Village Fair was held on August 14th, 1952 to commemorate the 1814 Battle of Stonington. With the assistance of more than 100 volunteers, this popular community event brings together local and tourist alike, for a fun-filled day of games, music, food and crafts.

Volunteers and sponors are a critical part of running this annual fundraiser and community event. To sign up for a volunteer shift, click the button below. Volunteers are needed to assist with setup and breakdown, as well as help during the fair including at games, the pottery tent, sweet bread table, prizes, and more!
