Annual Stafford WinterFest on Main Street Stafford Springs

Celebrate the spirit of the season with friends, family, and neighbors at Stafford WinterFest, Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 3 to 7 pm on Main Street.

The festive event features the Parade of Lights, live performances, visits with Santa, a community bonfire, tractor rides through Hyde Park, and more. With hundreds of luminaries lighting the night along Main Street, Stafford comes alive with holiday cheer…don’t miss this beloved community tradition!
Museum Open House – 3:00pm – 7:00pm
Peruse two floors of exhibits, artifacts, and learn about our town’s rich history at the Stafford Historical Society Museum at 5 Spring Street.
Live Nativity – 3:00pm
Live Nativity Performance with real actors and animals will take place on the lawn of the First United Methodist Church at 8 Church Street.
Parade of Lights – 5:00pm
Step-off at 5:00pm from Olympic Circle, down Main Street to Town Hall, with entrants lighted for evening viewing. In Haymarket Common, enjoy a simultaneous performance from the SHS Band & Color Guard. Intended to promote positivity and togetherness, all businesses, clubs, civic groups, and residents are welcome to register and join the lighted convoy! Viewing are everywhere between Olympic Circle and Town Hall!
The Stafford WinterFest Marketplace celebrates the season with authentic gifts where family, friends, and vendors can have fun while enjoying the season. The goal of the market is to support a community of makers, entrepreneurs, artists, and community groups who are passionate about sharing their craft or local initiative.
The WinterFest Marketplace will be located outside in Haymarket Common. In close proximity, a community bonfire and outdoor heaters will be positioned.
Caroling, Mix + Mingle
Community carol sing with the SHS Choir, community bonfire, visits with Santa In Haymarket Common (31 Main Street), and more immediately following the parade.
