Annual Mystic River Day + Sharkfest Swim

Come on down to Downtown Mystic on Sunday, July 8th from 8:30am to 2pm for activities in the park, races and recreation on the water, and specials downtown during Mystic River Day. This event kicks off upon the conclusion of the Sharkfest Swim.
Children’s activities and games on the Mystic River Park green. Mystic Sharkfest Swim – 4th Annual awards ceremony. Discover Mystic River history with a photo exhibition presented by the Mystic River Historical Society. Explore and have fun with local organizations, Mystic Seaport Museum, Mystic Aquarium, Denison Pequotsepos/Coogan Farm Nature & Heritage Center, Mystic Museum of Art, Sails Up 4 Cancer, DEEP & more. Meet and greet with Mystic Mermaids!
Sharkfest Swim, cheering section in the park. Tandem Kayak and SUP (stand up paddle) races down the Mystic River sponsored by Adventure Mystic LLC – Paddle Mystic. Mystic Boat Adventures – tours of the Mystic River. Rowing Club practice and much more!
