Annual Maple Festival at Sweet Wind Farm

The Annual Maple Festival at Sweet Wind Farm will take place on Saturday, March 13, 2021

Maple Festival Dates: Saturday March 13th, 2021 from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m.

Connecticut Maple Weekend: 

Saturday March 20, 2021 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Sunday March 21, 2021 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Please support the farm by at least purchasing maple products to enjoy because all of the work of sugaring doesn’t get us paid until they sell the syrup. Your support makes a difference.

TOURS Guided tours by reservation only for admission to inside the sugarhouse. See us in action with an educational presentation as you walk through the sugarhouse. We intend to be boiling and making syrup during these events. Masks must be worn, groups need to be of the same household, time slot appointments are for avoidance of close contact of other people outside your own group.

Non refundable fee of $10 for  to help support the farm.

You may also come to our event and sign up for a time slot in person and pay cash to the cashier. There will be no reservations made by email, phone, or messaging. Only online via link given or in person at event.

FOOD Pancakes, sausage, maple baked beans, coffee and more served, with outdoor seating for dining OR  take out.  Be prepared for whatever the weather conditions are because this is all outside this year. There is very limited seating upstairs allowed for visitors and priority will be given to those who have reserved a tour, so most seating will be outdoors so plan ahead. Don’t come with an expectancy that you will get to be inside because we have limited space. If it’s a nice day – hurray! If it isn’t, then they will work with it but you will still have to be outside so come prepared with proper footwear and outerwear.

MUSIC Outdoor seating for live music . “Jack and His Guitar” performing again. Jack is a staple at their festivals and he will singing all those classic tunes we all know and love from 11-3 on both Saturdays. *Note this is very much weather dependent. If the weather is not cooperative Jack will be upstairs but there isn’t much room for viewers to hang out up there. They apologize in advance if this is the case.

FARMER’S MARKET They will offer their own maple syrup in various size containers, maple sugar, maple cream, lollipops, jelly and more as well as other specialty food products including flavored maple syrup, dried herbs, herbal vinegars, jams, our own homegrown popcorn, raw local honey and more.

*Come prepared for the weather of the day by dressing appropriately! Credit cards accepted, cash is appreciated. Check with ID only. Other vendors will be here too so check it out! If you can’t stay long at least support the farm by taking some syrup home with you!
