An Hour of Clown by BreakFAST Puppets at Ballard Institute

Kick off the Ballard Institute’s 2025 Summertime Saturday Puppet Show Series with An Hour of Clown by BreakFAST Puppets on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 11:00 am on Betsy Paterson Square in Downtown Storrs.

Created and performed by Anthony Sellitto-Budney, this free, family-friendly outdoor show features Hour, a traveling clown who carries their life on their back but constantly faces comical mishaps along the way. Audiences of all ages will delight in an hour of playful stunts, juggling, tricks, puppetry, and interactive fun—all presented in a nonverbal, engaging format.

The Summertime Saturday Puppet Show Series offers free performances on three Saturdays in July and August. Reservations are not required. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs, as seating is not provided and space is first come, first served. In the event of rain, the show will move indoors to the Ballard Institute Theater at 1 Royce Circle in Downtown Storrs.
