An Evening with Leon Timbo and Sug Daniels at Levitt Pavilion Westport

Levitt Pavilion in Westport will host an unforgettable evening of soulful storytelling and genre-blending sound with Leon Timbo and Sug Daniels on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 7:30 pm. This free-ticket event is part of Levitt Pavilion’s 2025 season, which features more than 50 performances presented at no charge to the public.
Leon Timbo, known for his “transparent soul” style, blends country, gospel, folk, blues, and vintage soul into a unique sound rooted in personal healing and emotional expression. Raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Timbo has shared the stage with renowned artists including Marcus Miller and toured widely, performing at festivals like Newport Folk Festival and American Roots Festival.
Sug Daniels, a Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter originally from Delaware, brings warmth and depth through her ukulele-driven blend of folk, rock, and soul. Her music highlights themes of vulnerability and social awareness. Daniels has performed across the country with The Black Opry and supported acts such as Molly Tuttle and Buffalo Nichols. She is currently preparing to release her debut album I Believe In You in fall 2025.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the open-air atmosphere. The lawn opens one hour before showtime. Outside food and drink are welcome, though large coolers, tables, and tents are not permitted. The event is rain or shine, with ponchos recommended in case of showers. Masks are encouraged during check-in and when interacting with staff. Pets and smoking are prohibited.
