An Evening With David Sedaris at Ridgefield Playhouse

David Sedaris, one of America’s most acclaimed humor writers, is known for his sharp wit and brilliant observational essays. He is the author of multiple New York Times bestsellers, including Me Talk Pretty One Day, Naked, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, and Calypso. His most recent work, Happy-Go-Lucky, debuted at number one on the New York Times bestseller list, with its audio version winning the 2023 Audie Award.

Sedaris’s works have been translated into 32 languages and sold more than 16 million copies worldwide. His writing has appeared in The New Yorker and “The Best American Essays,” while his live readings and recordings have earned Grammy nominations. Beyond his books, Sedaris has co-written award-winning plays with his sister, Amy Sedaris, and regularly contributes to CBS Sunday Morning.
