Amy Irving with the Goolis Orchestra at Levitt Pavilion

Amy Irving and the Goolis Orchestra return to the Levitt Pavilion for a special free concert celebrating Irving’s birthday and the release of her newest album, Always Will Be. The performance highlights Irving’s inventive interpretations of songs written by Willie Nelson, including a reimagined version of “I’m Waiting Forever,” originally composed for her by Nelson in 1980.

Irving, known for her acclaimed career as an Academy Award-nominated actress with roles in Yentl, Crossing Delancey, and Carrie, made her musical debut in 2023 with Born in a Trunk. Her follow-up album features genre-defying tracks that range from punk rock to samba, and collaborations with artists such as Willie Nelson, Steve Earle, Amy Helm, and Louis Cato. The concert will showcase her gift for storytelling through song and her ability to breathe new life into Nelson’s work with warmth and originality.

This free event takes place on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 7:00 pm at the Levitt Pavilion in Westport. While tickets are free, advance reservations are required.
