All Is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914 at Playhouse on Park

Playhouse on Park presents All Is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914, a musical retelling of the remarkable true story of the World War I Christmas Truce. Set on the Western Front in 1914, the production recounts the extraordinary night when soldiers from opposing sides laid down their weapons, shared music and found moments of camaraderie and peace.

Told through the words and songs of the men who experienced the truce, the production explores a brief but memorable pause in the fighting during the Christmas season.

All Is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914 runs from December 2 through December 27 at Playhouse on Park, located at 244 Park Road in West Hartford. Performances are Wednesdays through Saturdays at 7:30 pm, with additional performances on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 2 pm.
