Alexey von Schlippe: Expressions of Mind and Soul at Slater Memorial Museum

The Slater Memorial Museum in Norwich presents Alexey von Schlippe: Expressions of Mind and Soul, on view from July 29, 2024, through May 1, 2026. This ongoing exhibition honors the legacy of Alexey von Schlippe—artist, educator, and longtime Norwich resident—through a selection of nearly two dozen works, many on public display for the first time. The collection includes a powerful mix of landscapes and portraits that reflect von Schlippe’s lifelong interest in the ways art communicates the depth of human emotion and experience.
